A Long Time Between Posts- Reflections on Module 5

Well at least I now recognise where my daughter constantly visits, virtually that is. It is some time since my daughter had to share a computer with me, so when I had to visit itunes and download version 10, I was somewhat sorry I hadn't clicked yes to the offers of itune updates that periodically appear on my screen. Still the searching, removing, verifying and finally finishing installing gave me time to hang out the washing, do another load and get my act together and uninstall programs I no longer needed that were taking up so much space.

I enjoyed exploring the various activities in Module 5, Digital storytelling is something I enjoy. I can see myself creating stories with and for the students I work with, I confess though it has long been thus and I don't use the tool anywhere nearly enough. I won't go on the hardware bandwagon, suffice to say I will try again to make it a regular part of the program.

What can I say about podcasts! What an interesting experience to be forced to do something I have been saying I would do for who knows how long. I delved into the archives of a few of my ABC local radio icons. Seriously spending dedicated time on my ABC reminds me how well 'aunty' is doing in the digital age.

I am glad to be back onto Web 2 study and hope the next reflection will be sooner rather than later.

I didn't quite get the courage to invite my daughter to ping with me. (I hope that means what I understood it to mean)
