Since reading Erin's blog on Goggle docs I've been interestested in investigating further. I had heard of them but not really knowing much about their appliction. After only a snippet on them I only wish they had been about when I was editor in chief of the student's newsletter school. How easier my life would have been. Though come to think of it I do recall the computer being down about the same time every week. Hmmm! And my friend Deb (if you are reading this), do you think we might have found things easier and not once deleted the wrong version and had to struggle through recent document to save it? Maybe next time huh!
However I will admit to being somewhat concerned by a teacher seeming rather excited by the fact that a poem was being written by students at 11 o'clock at night and that learning was happening at all times of the day. I think (as a parent mind you) I would prefer a culture where sleeping was happening at that time, to enable better learning at other times. That aside I certainly agreed with the sentiments of the teachers and principals in the video.
As an avid to and fro emailer of my documents and tangling myself in more recent copies of the same thing I am certainly looking forward to my next visit to atomic learning. At another time though as my brain needs a rest from todays learning. Mind you it's not as bad as it seems, how do I get the blog to show Australian time? It says I saved at 9.30pm.
Oh no Bernadette! Please do not take me back to that fateful day of no return!!!
