It is some time since I last visited BW2, but all has not been lost. Part of the reason for the gap has been BW reality rather than reflections for Web 2. Followers (well follower actually, but it doesn't sound quite so grand) will know I came kicking and screaming along, but recently I have had cause to partake in BBC news online, not the official version but the have your say and comment type of one. I admit I browsed rather than commented due to the fact that there was little I could add. You may be aware of the state of emergency in Jamaica about the time of my last blog. As part of diplomacy I kept an eye on the story! Very little was getting out via official channels and reporters so emails and comments were very useful. In defense of my former view, the comments would have be more useful if screened by an editor. Still I sit here corrected.
Shortly after that time as any reader will acknowledge assessments and reports managed to take priority. However in the middle of those things I had cause to use Google Docs as a tool for something that needed doing not just as part of a course. It took a while to get going but once begun it proved its worth. My only issue was the hardware or at least I suspect that is what it was (what's new you say!). Unfortunately, when three of us were on it at the same time there was a definite delay, not insurmountable but a delay non the less. I can say though that it proved very useful.
I am now off to work some more on my flickr and will hopefully post a new entry in less time than the last.
Reflection on modules from Web2 course CEO Sydney.
